I made this because the previous Kanto prefecture balls were well-received!
(Though to be honest, I just took the plot I’d already created on Zeta’s account and used it as is...)
This is by no means a repost of the prefecture ball artwork.
(I simply used the photos of the prefecture balls from Zeta’s account as they were.)
Saitama Prefecture. No coastline.
Neighboring prefectures: Nagano to the west (though passage is impossible due to rugged mountain ranges), Gunma to the north (sharing the longest border), Tokyo directly to the south, and Chiba to the east—four prefectures in total.
First-person pronoun: I
Terra incognita: Daisata-ma, Daisaitama (both mean the same thing—a blend of “daisai” [uncool] and “Saitama”).
Often competes with Chiba for third place in South Kanto.
Also frequently teased by Gunma; often described as bright and energetic, despite being said to have nothing special about it.
Chiba Prefecture
Neighboring prefectures: The east, south, and west are all ocean. To the west lies Tokyo; to the northwest is Saitama; and directly to the north is Ibaraki—three prefectures in total.
First-person pronoun: I
Sometimes I wear a Mickey Mouse headband from Disney.
I’m competing with Saitama for third place in South Kanto.
For some reason, everything related to Chiba ends up being labeled as “Tokyo” or “Disney,” which really gets me annoyed.
Kanagawa Prefecture. A bedroom community of Tokyo.
It is a major metropolitan prefecture with numerous large cities such as Yokohama and Kawasaki, and its population is the second largest in the Kanto region.
First-person pronoun: I
Second in the Kanto region
Neighboring prefectures: Shizuoka to the southwest, Yamanashi to the west, and Tokyo directly to the north—three prefectures in total.
Frequently, Kanagawa and Aichi engage in disputes over the scenery of Yokohama and Nagoya.
Tokyo. The capital of Japan.
It is Japan's largest city and has a food self-sufficiency rate of 0%, relying entirely on imports.
First-person pronoun: I
Adjacent prefectures: Saitama to the north, Chiba to the east, Kanagawa to the south, and Yamanashi to the west.
It often attends meetings with world cities like New York, Shanghai, and London.
Because central Tokyo is so powerful, the Tama area tends to be overshadowed.
Gunma Prefecture. No sea.
Such a pitiful prefecture, constantly teased by everyone (Gunma, Gunma Empire, a hidden land, not Japan, a foreign country, the countryside).
But Gunma is plotting to establish the Gunma Empire and seize eastern Japan and the Chubu region.
First-person: I, Gunma.
Neighboring prefectures: Nagano to the west, Niigata to the north, Fukushima to the northeast—though it’s barely connected due to national parks, rugged mountain ranges, and fragmented national highways—Tochigi to the east, and Saitama to the south.
Tochigi is its rival; they’re always at odds.
Tochigi Prefecture. It’s famous for Nikko, which has no sea, and for gyoza.
It’s always competing with Gunma as rivals.

Neighboring prefectures: To the north lies Fukushima, to the east Ibaraki, and to the west Gunma.
I’m always teasing Gunma.
Ibaraki Prefecture.
Neighboring prefectures: the sea to the east, Tochigi to the west, Chiba to the south, and Fukushima to the north.

(though they’re still teasing)
I’ve at least managed to stop the feud between Tochigi and Gunma.
Very caring.
Sometimes a bit clumsy (?).
Red flag: ranked lowest in attractiveness—“Ibaragi” (this is often misread by many; “Ibaragi” is incorrect—correctly it’s “Ibaraki,” meaning Ibaraki Prefecture).
By the way, it’s the only prefecture in the Kanto region with a solid agricultural sector.
