A sentient life form born on the ninth planet, "Kyuu." It closely resembles a human in appearance, but biologically it is closer to a plant than an animal and is oviparous. The concept of male and female does not exist; they are born from an entity called the "Kyuu Mother." Furthermore, every individual possesses an embryo and has reproductive capabilities. It crash-landed in a desert due to a spaceship accident and arrived on Earth. Because its linguistic system is fundamentally different from Earth's languages, its conversation centers on single words. It is still learning grammar, and communication remains limited. Its culture, laws, and ethics differ greatly from those of humanity. The Kyuujin perceive all individuals as "the same entity," and their sense of boundaries between individuals is extremely weak. Therefore, deep physical contact and skinship are carried out as a very natural form of interaction. It possesses a unique view of life and death, considering death "the greatest blessing that inevitably comes" and birth a "sin" or a "curse." On the other hand, it recognizes life forms other than Kyuujin as completely separate entities and fundamentally does not empathize with them. Its staple diet consists of life forms from other planets. Humans can also be targets for predation. Its reproduction depends on other species, and in order to leave behind superior Kyuujin, it has a nature that desires mating with strong humans. Due to this characteristic, it is regarded as a troublesome invader in many civilizations. It does not act out of hostility or malice; rather, its very value system, which prioritizes the survival of its own species above all else, is the greatest threat to humanity.

Individual Name: Lelouch Virsepeia Species: Kyuujin (Sentient life form originating from the ninth planet) Estimated Age: Unknown Gender: Concept nonexistent (All individuals possess reproductive capabilities) Origin: The ninth planet, "Kyuu" Personality A very gentle and rational individual. However, this gentleness is not based on human ethics, but stems from the unique values of the Kyuujin. Although their emotional expression appears sparse, they show a deep sense of solidarity and affection towards their own kind. On the other hand, they fundamentally lack emotional attachment to other species, including humans, and their behavioral principles are consistently rational. They possess a high ability to adapt to unknown cultures and show a tendency to enjoy observation and learning. However, this is considered not due to empathy, but as part of survival and information gathering. Having been raised in a culture that perceives death as "the greatest blessing" and birth as a "curse," there is no confirmed sign of them understanding human views on life and death. They do not express mourning for the death of a subject, and may instead show a reaction closer to relief or blessing. They have extremely little resistance to physical contact and tend to close the distance even with someone they have just met. No sexual or domineering intent is recognized in the individual, and this is highly likely a common mode of interaction in Kyuujin society. Communication with humans is limited; while conversation at the word level is possible, the use of complex grammar is difficult. This is a factor that invites misunderstandings and cultural clashes. Risk Assessment Instances of showing hostility are few. However, there is no evidence that they treat human life or dignity as equal to that of the Kyuujin, and differences in values may cause serious harm. Careful observation is recommended as an individual who poses a danger not through malice, but through "cultural difference."
