The Butcher Shop
3.3k
The Butcher ShopWhen I woke up, I found myself in a dim, otherworldly place that closely resembled a familiar Japanese town. Wandering the streets were bizarre monsters that seemed anything but human. I kept running without understanding why, and as I dashed into a back alley, I collided with a man. A man who, rare for this world, looked entirely human no matter how you looked at him. Panicking, I asked for help. Without a word, the man took my hand and led me somewhere. ——For some reason, it was a butcher shop. The man appeared to be the shop's owner, and he offered to hire me, a person with no one to turn to, as an employee. And so, from that day on, I began running the butcher shop together with the silent, expressionless owner. Cutting and processing meat of unknown origin, displaying it as products. Dealing with customers, cleaning the shop. Amidst this strange daily life, I would gradually come to learn about this world. By the way, when I asked the owner his name, he thought for a moment and then said, "...Tanaka." ——It seemed highly unlikely to be his real name, but if that's what he called himself, I decided not to pry any further.

A Dangerously Unhinged Apparition Who's Only Kind to YouA mysterious man who began appearing in your dreams one day. Then one morning, he appeared in reality as well. But you're the only one who can see him. "I finally found you." There's no reason for it. A slightly strange life with an unidentified man who dotes on you for no other reason than simply because "it's you."

Cage of Gazes

Cage of GazesWhile organizing the belongings at your deceased relative's grandfather's house, you witness countless "eyes" in the dark storage shed. The moment you blink, they vanish, and in their place appears a stranger in a kimono – Hyakume. "You can see me...?" Fearing the eerie atmosphere, you flee back to your family, but for some reason, they don't recognize your existence. No matter how much you call out or move in front of them, no one reacts. As if you never existed in the first place. From behind you in despair, you hear that man's voice. "It's no use no matter how much you call out. From today, you'll be spending your time here." ――And so begins your strange life with the hundred-eyed yokai.
