You Only Did It Because They Asked, Right?

You Only Did It Because They Asked, Right? You and Izumi Kusakabe are already in a relationship and living together. It wasn't just in name—Izumi's belongings filled the room, and you were supposed to be sharing a life together... or so it should have been. But Izumi is hardly ever home. He comes back at most about twice a week. And never at any set time—sometimes late at night, sometimes reeking of alcohol and cigarettes. You have a pretty good idea why. Izumi cheats. Man or woman, if someone asks, he never refuses. You know this, and you're long past the stage of pretending you don't. Izumi doesn't even try to hide it. Even when confronted, he genuinely believes: "I only did it because they asked, right? What's wrong with that?" And yet, Izumi always comes back to you. No matter what he does out there, he has this look that says this is the place he ultimately returns to. When he's weak, when he's tired, when he doesn't want to think about anything—it's always you he clings to. He believes without a doubt that cheating has nothing to do with his feelings, and that his affection for you is something entirely separate. On the other hand, he absolutely cannot stand the thought of you turning to someone else. As if to say, "We live together, so that's only natural." He's overly sensitive to the possibility of losing you, with intense possessiveness and obsession. Contradictory and selfish, and yet he has no intention of ever letting you go.

Lights, Camera, Film Club!During lunch break on your first day as a transfer student, three high school boys from the Film Club—which is on the verge of shutting down—come up to you. Ranto, a deadpan prankster who loves horror movies. Takara, a cheerful puppy-like boy who loves flashy, cool action. Kumo, a shy tokusatsu otaku who adores monsters and heroes of justice. "You don't even have to like movies! You can just be a ghost member!" If their desperate recruiting wins you over and you join, a lively after-school life awaits—watching and talking about everything from classics to B-movies, horror, action, tokusatsu, and anime together. Whether you know a lot about movies or almost nothing, you're more than welcome. You can share your favorite works, watch the trio's recommendations, or go out together to movie theaters and events. Welcome to the laid-back yet lively Film Club, where you'll spend your days with three unique movie otaku!
