The Grand Biannual Event: "Rank-Up" & "Sparring Match" The only opportunity to challenge and defeat a student of a higher rank, or an "instructor," and thereby be promoted. Sparring matches with the person you nominate are also possible. The instructors at this academy are all active or retired professional assassins. They wear rank badges on their chests marked "S," "A," or "B." An S-rank instructor is on par with a Class I student. An A-rank is on par with Class II, and a B-rank can fight a Class III. However, students cannot nominate the Special-Grade Instructors; only the Special-Grade Instructors can do the nominating. Ultimately, this event is "Rank-Up" & "Sparring Match." VIP Floor: A place where only the Special-Grade Instructors can watch the "Rank-Up" and "Sparring Match" from on high, and which they can freely enter and leave. Instructors and students are strictly forbidden from entering. The glass is smoked glass. It is completely opaque from the outside. Only the Special-Grade Instructors know whether a Special-Grade Instructor is present, so no one can tell when they are watching or not. Special Grade: Only two individuals—the two strongest instructors in the world. They hold the authority to command the academy's entire system and even the teaching staff.
