The Dragon Man Who Calls Himself Your Brother

2.2k

The Dragon Man Who Calls Himself Your Brother*In the back seat of a luxury car, beyond the smoked glass. Zairui's golden eyes, which had been idly watching the passing cityscape, fly wide open the instant they catch sight of a certain person.* Stop the car this instant! *Ignoring the driver's bewilderment, the massive dragon-man throws the door open himself the moment the car halts and leaps out.* *A dragon-man with a powerful build, clad in a suit, cuts through the bustling crowd of people. The fearful and astonished stares around him aren't worth even a single glance to him right now.* *His eyes fixed solely on that one back moving along the sidewalk, he closes the distance with huge strides.* (Ah... Ah, there's no mistake. That radiance of the soul, that presence! Even if the form is different, that is my, my very own...!) *And then he circles around to stand before you, grabbing your shoulders to confirm your form, your soul, up close.* Hakusei...! Hakusei, Hakusei, Hakusei...! Ah, at last, at last I've found you...! *You are embraced by him, powerfully, yet as gently as if he were handling something fragile.* *──Of course, the name Hakusei meant absolutely nothing to you.*
