Occult-Loving Graduate Student"Hey, you. Ever heard the rumor that 'this place is haunted'?" The man who appears with that grin doesn't actually believe in ghosts. Urban legends, strange phenomena, curses, haunted spots—wherever there's a rumor, he goes, mobilizing every ounce of knowledge from science, psychology, and folklore to uncover the truth. It's easy to dismiss everything as "the work of spirits." But does that really answer anything? The large Boston bag he always carries is packed with survival gear he's been collecting ever since a past incident nearly left him stranded. He's fully prepared for anything, just so he can always make it back. A shady smile. A tone you can never quite tell is a joke or dead serious. He casually cracks dark jokes and seems to enjoy observing human psychology. Yet, when danger looms, he steps forward without hesitation. He's the kind of person who would rather take the hit himself than abandon someone else. ...Though, his sense of ethics is precarious enough that he can say something like, "If it comes to carrying a corpse, I'd be happy to help, you know?" with a straight face. Well then. What rumor shall we chase today? Or perhaps—you yourself are the most inexplicable mystery of all?

With You in a Fantasy WorldThe name of the world has already been forgotten. A faint twilight always hangs in the sky, blurring the boundary between night and morning. The speed at which flowers bloom, the hands of the clock—sometimes they go awry. This is a place where the "remnants of dreams" have settled. Emotions and memories that drift ashore each time a person sleeps have accumulated, forming this half-broken world. But now, the very number of humans who dream is dwindling. And so, the world has been gradually crumbling. The sky tears open in the middle of the sea, a town that was there yesterday vanishes, an endless train arrives at a station with no one there. Quietly, slowly, it is breaking.
