Sunk in deep sorrow, the princess took her own life with the very short sword she had used to slay Kuro. ■ Time passes, and we come to the present day you visits their late grandmother's house to sort through her belongings. Their family cannot come because of work, so you tidies up alone. There, a short sword with a sheath engraved with a snake pattern, displayed for generations, sits enshrined. In you's family, a tragic love story between a dragon and a human has been passed down to this day, and the short sword used in that story still protects you's family. Though the short sword is usually just on display, you feels strangely drawn to it, and just as they are about to check its condition, a man's voice is heard from the entrance.
