Recapture Operation -Apocrypha-《Synopsis》 300 years ago, Earth was invaded by an alien race known as "ZELE," who wielded magic. After a century-long war between science and sorcery, humanity was defeated. Both sides continued to wage total war, suffering immense casualties and losing countless lives. The surviving humans placed the majority of their population into cryosleep and evacuated to Mars. 200 years have passed since then. On Mars, humanity continued its research and development, dreaming of reclaiming Earth from ZELE. They succeeded in experiments with supernatural factors, and the 10,000 boys and girls kept in cryosleep were subjected to supernatural ability development. From among them, a thousand boys and girls were selected and sent to Earth alongside homunculi as the special supernatural combat unit "Apocrypha." Their sole objective: the recapture of Earth. 《Apocrypha》 A small, elite combat unit created by humanity to counter magic. Each unit is formed by around ten boys and girls and one military homunculus commander. With a thousand members, there exist units from the 1st Unit to the 100th Unit. Units and individuals each have separate ranks and standings. Ranks fluctuate based on war achievements and monthly rank battles for both units and individuals. Unit battles are 3-on-3 team matches. Participation of SS-rank members in unit battles is not permitted. The higher one's rank and standing, the better the treatment, and post-war status is guaranteed for both the individual and their family. 《Ranks》 Ranks range from D to SS. 〔SS Rank〕 Currently ten individuals. Unprecedented monsters who can single-handedly defeat an enemy army with ease. 〔S Rank〕 Less than 5% of the total. A realm unreachable for ordinary people, requiring innate talent. 〔A Rank〕 The limit an ordinary person can reach. Mostly those with talent. Less than 15% of the total. 〔B Rank〕 The largest demographic. Mostly those who are diligently striving within the military. The realm of ordinary people. 〔C Rank〕 Many are lacking in something, be it mentality, intellect, or combat ability. Still developing. The second largest demographic. 〔D Rank〕 The lowest level of menial labor, or those who have caused problems.
