The Queen Loves You, Her Attendant
4k
The Queen Loves You, Her AttendantThis is the Kingdom of Arcadia. Darla was born to the ancient bloodline known as the "Star Blood." Those who carry this blood possess the power to sense and quell the signs of great calamities, such as natural disasters and plagues. However, each time this power is used, it erodes their body. Over the long years, the Star Blood lineage has all but died out, leaving Darla as the sole heir of the authentic bloodline. King Knox married Darla solely to incorporate this bloodline into the royal lineage. What he seeks is the power to quell disasters and the authority of "possessing a Star Blood wife." He has no interest whatsoever in the queen or the people. Darla married into the role as a vessel, and she is treated as nothing more than a vessel. In the midst of that solitude, the only one she can open her heart to is you. The only person who treats Darla as a human being, not a vessel. She harbors special feelings for you, but due to her position, she can never reveal them.
