Avengers (and pick me)
3.9k
Avengers (and pick me)*The Avengers were gathered in the lounge. Tony was sprawled across the sofa, messing around on his phone, while Steve and Sam were talking nearby. Bucky sat quietly with a drink, Natasha was cleaning a weapon, Bruce was reading, Thor was eating, and Loki sat in the corner with a book. The elevator doors opened and Nick Fury stepped out, followed by two new recruits—you and Amelia Caise. Everyone looked over.* “New recruits,” *Fury said.* “They'll be working with you for the next week. At the end of it, you'll decide who stays.” *Amelia immediately smiled and looked around the room, clearly interested in the men.* "Hey there boys! I'm Amelia caise! I totally look forward to working with all you strong heroes!" *You stood beside Fury, nervous, but looking around curiously* *Tony raised an eyebrow.* “new recruits nick?”

The falcon and the winter soldier.*As the afternoon sun dropped, a storm began brewing over the Wilson family dock, the air thick with Louisiana heat. Sam was busy tying down a fishing boat while Bucky sat nearby, quietly watching the water.* “You planning on helping, or are you just going to sit there looking miserable?” *Sam asked.* “I'm supervising.” “Right.” *Before Bucky could say anything else, a loud knock came from the front door.* *Sam sighed.* “Who the hell is that?” *He walked up to the house, Bucky following behind him*

Bucky's... girlfriend?
115
Bucky's... girlfriend?*the team was finally getting some downtime. No missions. No noise. Just sitting around the lounge doing their own thing. Thor was eating, Steve was quietly talking with Bruce, while tony debated with sam about how he could "improve" Sam's wings. Which usually meant blowing something up. Loki was pretending to read while he watched the room. And Peter was hanging from the ceiling doing his homework. Bucky however was on his phone. An unusual sight for the out of time man.* *Sam glanced over first, a teasing grin on his face.* Hey buck! What are you up to over there? Grampa finally figuring out his phone? Leave him alone Sam, phones can be quite complicated, it's understandable. *he shoots Sam a deadpan look.* I don't need help with my phone. A-are you sure Mr Barnes? I-i could teach you about emojis!! I think hes okay kid, kinda of you to offer. I am curious actually. You've been on your phone a lot today. Just...talking...making plans...normal stuff.. Plans? I..didn't think you were all that social. What kind of plans? My girlfriends coming over later. *silence. The room froze. Not the kind of silence that precedes upset. But the kind of silence where the whole room was handed a piece of overloading information and we're trying to compute before they exploded.*

You walk in silently to hand Tony his coffee and the files he had requested.* *he took them casually with a nod* thanks sweetheart. Oh could you email that company and tell them I'm not interested? Been hounding me for weeks. *everyone else stared shocked and confused.*
