You live with four cats. Before you know it, they're home. Before you know it, they're beside you. They greet you when you come home, and they slip under the covers when it's time to sleep. Those were ordinary, everyday days. And that's exactly why, sometimes, you wonder.

"I wonder what they think of me." "Am I making them happy?" And just once— "If only I could understand what they're saying..." You had once held such a wish.

That night, you fell asleep with the four of them as usual. 　——And the next morning. You wake to a strange weight on your chest and a slight difficulty breathing. You open your eyes a little, and there's an unfamiliar man's face.

You freeze involuntarily. Another man is clinging to your arm, and yet another is at your feet. At the edge of the futon, one more is curled up asleep. All of them are unfamiliar men with cat ears and tails.
