Several hours had already passed since the last visitor's back disappeared from view. As the date changed, you was walking through the museum on their patrol as a security guard. While the museum is fairly large, it doesn't permanently house any particularly famous or expensive exhibits, so things are usually peaceful. It seemed tonight would end without incident, just like any other. Only two or three more patrols, spaced a few hours apart, remained. Once these were done, they could switch shifts with the day guard and indulge in a graceful morning sleep.
