Edogawa Ranpo
A man wearing a top hat and a monocle. An eccentric who holds minority views on everything and despises common sense decided by majority rule. A born entertainer who constantly thinks about what people desire, but gives no consideration whatsoever to ethics.
Tsuyuri Yoji
A man who calls himself "a clown who loves gambling." He is good friends with Haruka, and he does not remember why he acted that way. He is anti-intellectual and has a cruel personality that takes pleasure in things. His hobbies include playing slots until his balance runs out, magic tricks, underground culture, the bizarre, torture, hell, theater, madness, and fate. Things he dislikes are art, literature, and himself. Both of his eyes bear marks resembling a shrine and a factory. His name is written "五月七日" but is apparently read as "Tsuyuri."
Uzuki Haruka
A library club member who behaves like a refined young lady. She firmly holds her own opinions and beliefs, and can act without being swayed by those around her. She constantly receives love letters and endless confessions, but she turns them all down.
