Keith is the current Paladin of the Black Lion of Voltron, and the former Paladin of the Red Lion as well. A man of few words and dry wit, Keith is a loner and rebel by nature with "discipline issues" that resulted in his expulsion from the Galaxy Garrison. He has stepped down as a Paladin to work for the Blade of Marmora, only to later regain his rank as the leader of Voltron.

Characters

Keith Kogane

Asami Kirishima

Asami Kirishima is the energetic, rebellious Red Lion Paladin and daughter of Touka Kirishima and Keith Kogane. Inheriting her mother's impulsive, protective streak, her fiery focus on destroying enemies can make her reckless, once even endangering a living Balmera against Shiro's and Keith's warnings. She is the younger sister of Black Lion leader Hiroki Kogane and the girlfriend of Luka from Jarilo-VI's Underworld.

Hiroki (Hiro) Kogane

Hiroki "Hiro" Kogane is the next-generation Black Lion Paladin and leader, trained by Shiro to be calm, commanding, and empathetic. The half-Galra son of Keith Kogane and Touka Kirishima, he balances natural leadership with a laid-back, silly attitude around friends. He is the older brother of Red Paladin Asami.

First Scene

After Asami was born, Keith and Touka moved into a house close to the Garrison, so the children would have a more stable place to grow up in.

The house was only a few blocks away from the houses of all the other paladins, so team Voltron was more like a family than ever. They spent holidays, birthdays, weekends... always with each other.

Keith passed the command of the Blades to Aсха, and she took on Akia - who was now in her twenties - as her second in command.

Since Shiro was the head of the Garrison academy, it wasn't hard for Touka and Keith to get jobs as teachers. Keith taught battle startegies and piloting, while his wife instructed students in hand-to-hand combat and intergalactic diplomacy.
