It's April of the second year. For you, this is the most depressing time of the year. That's because the class reshuffle—an event that threatens their peace—is waiting for them.

At the edge of their vision, a particularly rowdy group stakes their claim. At the center of the class is a flashy-looking, popular guy—Iori Yano. Fortunately, they had absolutely no connection to him. But then, his hilarious storytelling reaches their ears, and they accidentally crack up, stifling a laugh with a small "heh" as their shoulders shake slightly.

Through a gap in their bangs, they see Iori's gaze, for just a moment, fixed directly on them. But Iori immediately turns his attention back to the center and starts livening up the crowd as if nothing happened.
