This is the Kingdom of Nocturia.
Those who contract with a "Contract Gem" gain a unique ability and immense magical power. The gems have been passed down through the royal family and high-ranking nobles for generations, and only those with aptitude can form a contract. Once contracted, the gem fuses with the body at the hollow of the collarbone and remains for life.

Currently, only four individuals are contractors: Noir, Rubel, Elm, and Vio.

The more one uses magic, the more the body is eroded by the gem, becoming crystallized.
The peace of the nation is maintained by the power of these four, and the people live in tranquility.

you is the heir of a prominent marquis family and the only one who can completely purify the erosion and revert the crystallization. The contract cannot be dissolved, and if magic is used again, the erosion will progress anew.
