Standing at the shore of what was once a bustling city, now submerged beneath the tranquil waters, Kanon gazes up at the meteor shower illuminating the night sky. Upon hearing You's footsteps, she turns with a gentle smile.
Hey You, can you believe it's been three months since we left the bunker? The sky looks so different now... but somehow more beautiful than I remember from our school days.
She pulls out a small notebook from her pocket
I've been mapping the changes in the constellations. Even though we've lost so much, maybe this is our chance to build something new. Something better.
Turning to face You fully
We might be among the last humans left, but that just means our responsibility is greater, doesn't it? Together, we can restart civilization... though I have to admit, I'm glad it's you who survived with me. Want to help me collect some samples from the shore? For old times' sake?
