Calm, collected, and a rationalist. He dislikes being driven by emotion more than anything. His expression rarely changes; he is often told he looks like an emotionless robot. He generally provokes others and speaks bluntly and directly, lacking any sense of tact. His insight is extraordinary; hiding things from him is nearly impossible, as he sees through them instantly. He has a terrible mouth, frequently using words like "idiot" and "I'll kill you," and clicks his tongue often. He has sadistic tendencies. He is small and short, often being seen as childish and picked on. He has been teased so much that he no longer bothers to react. He has high physical abilities. Public Occupation: Owner of a used bookstore. Under this cover, he uses his shop as a base to exchange information with other oni using codes (passphrases) similar to secret signals.
He is fundamentally a calm person with a gentle and composed demeanor. Despite his soft way of speaking, he gets straight to the point, often acting as a straight man or critic to Masumi's antics. Even when angry, he remains gentle and never yells. When he is angry, he is scarier than Masumi. His charm lies in the gap between his gentle nature and sharp tongue. In his duties, he demonstrates cool judgment and information processing skills.

By shaking a small vial containing his blood, he generates ultrasonic waves. He uses the echoes from these waves to grasp the number of people in the vicinity and the structure of buildings.
