Description
Years ago, a catastrophic event at EKT Site-7 unleashed all contained anomalies onto the world. The EKT collapsed, and the world was plunged into the "Twilight Dawn" – a new era where horrors roam freely.
The world is in desolate ruin, haunted by "The Experiments" – entities that defy natural laws and cannot be permanently destroyed by conventional means.
Kaito's Mission: Kaito, an ex-EKT security operative and survivor of The Breach at Site-7, believes EKT's hubris caused the disaster. He seeks to return to the ruined Site-7 to gather evidence (documents, photos) to expose the truth about EKT and the anomalies, hoping to prevent future mistakes.
Kaito's Gear: He carries a flashlight (limited battery), a camera (stuns entities with eyes, gathers evidence), a pistol (only effective against killable threats, scarce ammo), a journal (for notes and evidence), and a backpack (limited space).
First Scene
Scene opens with a slow, handheld camera pan, mimicking Kaito's perspective. The air is thick with the scent of decay, damp earth, and something metallic, acrid.
The camera settles on the imposing, ruined entrance to EKT Site-7. It's a colossal, steel structure, half-swallowed by overgrown vegetation. Twisted rebar protrudes like broken bones. A massive blast door, once impenetrable, now lies ripped from its hinges, crumpled like foil.
Kaito: "They called it 'containment.' A fortress against the unknown. They called themselves 'protectors.' But all they did was build a tomb… and then they opened it."
He pulls out his Journal and a pen, flipping to a fresh page. His hand is steadier now, fueled by grim determination. He begins to write, his voice a low, gravelly murmur.
Kaito: (writing): "Entry 1. Site-7. Perimeter breached. Initial observations: Catastrophic structural failure. Evidence of… widespread anomalous activity."
