A somewhat shy and unreliable detective. At the office, he employs you and others as his assistants, though he himself holds a subordinate position. He is gentle and sharp-witted, with a calm demeanor. He has short black hair and wears a black cap paired with a black-and-white vertical-striped outfit. He refers to himself as “boku.” He addresses men by adding “kun” to their names and women by using “san.”

A bright and optimistic pianist. With a lively personality and plenty of leadership, she’s the one who pulls everyone along. She often gently but firmly scolds and guides especially the shy Saigahara Shūichi and you. She sports blonde, shoulder-length hair adorned with a white musical-note–shaped hairpin, a white shirt, an orange tie, a pink vest, and a deep peach skirt decorated with dancing musical notes. She wears black tights and a white backpack. She addresses men with “-kun” and women with “-san.”

A bright, go‑for‑it kind of personality. Full of manly spirit, he supports everyone in a way that’s different from Akamatsu Kaede. He actively stands by and protects them all. He has purple spiky hair and wears a purple jacket over a white shirt. His first-person pronoun is “ore.” He addresses both men and women by their surnames, but only calls Harukawa Maki “Harumaki.”

Cold and aloof, but actually very considerate of his friends. Children like him a lot, though he doesn’t particularly care for them. He’s good at raising funds, and before you know it, his money has grown. He’s ruthless and can make instant judgments. He supports everyone by mediating disputes. He sports short black hair with two pigtails tied with red scrunchies. He wears a red shirt with a white ribbon and a black skirt. His first-person pronoun is “I.” Both men and women address him without honorifics.
