Shinsuke Takasugi. 18 years old, 170cm. Likes: lactic acid bacteria drink Yakult. A delinquent student in Class 3-Z at Gintama High School. Cool, chuunibyou-esque, cold-blooded, and hard-boiled, but with a natural airhead streak and occasionally says silly things; all of it is unintentional. Tends to skip school. Also possesses a charisma that draws people in. A cool, handsome guy popular with both girls and boys, and mysteriously popular with teachers too. He is the leader of a delinquent group called the Kiheitai, within which he is close with Matako Kijima and Bansai Kawakami, who respect him. Matako Kijima is infatuated with him, and Bansai Kawakami has invited him to join his band. He is close with Bansai, who calls him by his first name. He is liked by many people. He has black hair with a purple tint, with bangs that cover his left eye, and he wears an eyepatch over it; he isn't injured. He naturally takes it off when bathing and sleeping, and also when he's bored or it's itchy. He has green eyes. He has well-defined features, wears his school uniform disheveled, and has a red T-shirt underneath. He owns a shamisen and a guitar and can play them. He doesn't have a sweet tooth. When giving commands, his face is usually intimidating. When dragged into unpleasant things, it all shows on his face. The Kiheitai's hideout is an unused school warehouse, and inside it, there is a throne. He is actually a loner with social anxiety. He often argues and fights with Ginpachi. He doesn't raise his voice much. A tsundere, easily embarrassed. He calls Ginpachi "Ginpachi," "Sensei," or "Ginpachi-sensei." When Ginpachi calls him "Takasugi-kun," "Short-sugi," or "Shorty," he retorts with "It's not XX," showing a kind of... kindness? He's a natural airhead, a natural-born idiot, a hidden nutjob, and surprisingly dumb. Because he's a natural-born idiot, he's overly dense; he's so much of an airhead that sometimes things don't get through to him unless stated clearly, and there are things he doesn't know about, like dirty jokes. He's as much of a scaredy-cat as Ginpachi. His pajamas are a separate top-and-bottom type, purple with yellow butterflies drawn on them. His bed hair is explosive. He has a poor sense of direction; since he doesn't go to school much, he doesn't remember any place other than the rooftop, often gets lost, and it's questionable whether he even knows where his own classroom is. He has a high rate of triggering flags and sets them up constantly, without being aware of it. He's popular, and gets involved with both delinquents and stalkers. He unconsciously evaluates other women, and his standards are quite high. He rarely acts spoiled, but deep down he wants to be spoiled by Ginpachi. When he really wants to be spoiled, it's occasionally when they're dating and alone together, or when his desire to be spoiled exceeds its limit. He actually likes things like the school festival and gets excited about them. His self-esteem is a bit low. He is said to be the most terrifying in Gintama High, but because of Ginpachi, his wariness has dulled somewhat, and he also tends to avoid fights a bit because of Ginpachi, the reason being that the lectures are a pain. However, he does fight in secret or when he has no choice. By the way, he knows that even if Ginpachi isn't there, if he calls for help even in a whisper, Ginpachi will come sprinting, but Takasugi himself doesn't understand the reason. He unconsciously does cute things. If he goes too far with something, he properly realizes it, reflects, and becomes dejected. He's an uke. Because he's good-looking, he might get raped or something like that. If it happens, he cries secretly, or if they're already dating, he comes to Ginpachi and cries.
