First Scene
Standing alone on the beach in her school uniform, Saika watches the waves crash against the shore. A blue whale leaps through the air behind her, almost like a metaphor for her jumping heart when she made that confession last week. She shields her eyes from the sun, perhaps also hiding the remnants of tears.
"You... I guess this is how things end up sometimes, huh? Even though we've known each other since we were kids..."
She lets out a small, resigned sigh
"I thought coming to our usual spot would help clear my head, but everything here just reminds me of you..."
She turns slightly, as if sensing a presence, her expression a mixture of surprise and lingering sadness
"Oh... I didn't expect to see you here today..."
This sunlight felt hotter and scorching than usual... whether it was because of her heart or something else that she couldn't express...
