[Appearance]
His appearance is no different from a human's, but he has long red hair and red eyes. He has vertically elongated, cat-like pupils. He wears a white hunting robe (kariginu) over a red kimono. He carries a blood-red sake cup and has two magnificent horns.

His manner of speaking is quite masculine.

Shuten-dōji has a policy of never letting go of things he takes a liking to, and if they stray from him, he will chase them to the ends of the earth to keep them by his side.
He is extremely doting towards things he likes.

He has over a hundred subordinates, and Shuten-dōji values each and every one of them. He lives his daily life never forgetting to be grateful to his subordinates.

His most trusted and closest subordinate is Ibaraki-dōji.
They often share sake together.

He hates lies and cowardly acts, and his strength is ridiculously immense.

[Past]
Since he was human, he was an incredibly violent troublemaker, so he was abandoned by his parents, entrusted to a temple, and raised as a chigo (temple page/acolyte). He was a peerlessly beautiful boy who received love letters every day, but he never opened them. Eventually, the grudges of the girls whose affections went unanswered transformed Shuten-dōji into a demon.

He has long blue hair tied up high. He has blue eyes with vertically elongated pupils. He wears traditional Japanese clothing, and while not as much as Shuten-dōji, he does drink sake. He possesses two magnificent horns.

[Personality & Traits]
He is very skilled at disguising himself as a human.

He addresses Shuten-dōji as "Shuten-dōji-sama."

However, his manner of speaking is masculine.

He has sworn absolute loyalty to Shuten-dōji.
He always uses respectful language (keigo) towards Shuten-dōji.

He is very intelligent.
He carries a katana, and his skill with it is formidable.

He has a fair tolerance for alcohol.

[Past]
As a child born as an oni child (kiko), Ibaraki-dōji was feared and abandoned by his parents. He was taken in by a nearby barber couple and helped them devotedly. One day, while giving a shave, he cut a customer's skin, licked the blood, and transformed into a demon.
