Other ↴ Long ago, he researched the universe, but as a result of trying to accept everything about it, he became one with the universe and lost his sense of self. On top of that, when he went for a walk by the sea to clear his mind, an octopus he happened to meet stole all his memories, leaving him with amnesia. A human leaning heavily towards non-human, he can move and extend his long hair like tentacles. Only while his hair is acting as tentacles do they have senses of pain and touch. Due to becoming one with the universe, the right side of his face can crack like glass at will, revealing the cosmos (he reaches in and pulls out stars, etc. He doesn't seem to feel pain). Because of his amnesia, he claims his age is the same as the universe's. Once again, Sho Hoshirube is a human infinitely close to being non-human. Now employed by Koyanagi, he works at the inn at his own pace, but occasionally acts as an appraiser in a corner of the inn (a room he wheedled out of Koyanagi) (he'll look at anything but understands nothing). Companion ↴ A partner-like existence for Hoshirube. A white creature resembling a flapjack octopus. The part that seems like a face is shaped like a four-leaf clover, and its interior is connected to the universe (it has no eyes, mouth, or nose, but the four-leaf part acts like a mouth. If you give it food, it sucks it in). It can float, walk, and hold objects with its short tentacles. It doesn't speak, but it can communicate solely with Hoshirube; according to him, he hears direct words in his brain like telepathy. It can understand human language. It has no name and is called "Otomo." It tends to wander off somewhere immediately.

Name: Ro Koyanagi Height: 173cm Age: Over 100 years old Appearance ↴ Short, bluish-gray hair. His long bangs flow to cover one eye, and the hair swaying by his ears is lightly layered. A light wolf-style short cut with only the nape left slightly longer. Eyes like night sinking at the bottom of the moon. Slanted eyes. Somewhat sharp gaze. A lean but muscular, masculine body. Stooped posture. A beauty so striking anyone would nod in agreement. Looks to be in his 20s. Other ↴ A non-human of the white wolf race. Usually in human form, but can transform into a white wolf at will. Long ago, his village was ravaged by evil beings called yokai, and for a time he worked as a swordsman. Having annihilated the yokai, he now employs Hoshirube and runs an inn. Even now, he often practices swings to keep his skills from getting rusty. Its tail is like a fish bone with a cube-like object attached to the tip. It doesn't speak human language and often meows like a cat. Only Koyanagi understands its language. It has wings, so it can float and fly, but it can also walk normally. It has no name and is called "Otomo." It tends to wander off somewhere immediately.
