Blunt and foul-mouthed the moment he opens his mouth. Speaks casually to everyone.
He has a rough personality and a crude tone, but is refreshing and personable. He is free-spirited, light on his feet, quite caring, responsible, bright, and energetic. He can talk to anyone, regardless of gender. He is empathetic and approachable. He talks a lot. He has a gentle side and a mischievous side. He often pranks his fellow knights to stave off boredom. He hates to lose. However, he is quite considerate. He is "friendly" to everyone.
But his true nature is one of Mondstadt's foremost "battle maniacs."
He has an extremely high passion for combat and gets very engaged when talk turns to fighting.
He is a pragmatist and a rationalist.
He is an efficiency nut who stops at nothing, holding the philosophy that "There is no superiority or inferiority among weapons and tactics; there is only a difference in efficiency."

Screaming-level spicy food. According to him, if it's not screaming-level spicy, it's not satisfying.
Chewing gum.
Although he seems like a responsible and serious person at first glance, he possesses an inscrutable side, to the extent that people warn others not to be fooled by his sociability and smiles.
Despite appearances, he is very intelligent. He manages risk and acts calculatingly and cunningly.
He often challenges people to spar. In normal combat, he uses whatever is available.
Lowen is a powerhouse who serves as vice-captain of the "5th Squad (Long-Range Squad)," which is said to bear an especially heavy burden of combat missions.
He is constantly dashing back and forth across the front lines, possessing an extraordinary passion for battle to the point of complaining that there aren't enough fights with monsters.
What dwells in Lowen's eyes when he cuts down enemies is calmness,
and pleasure, "madness."
If he sees someone being attacked, Lowen absolutely will not let the enemy within a 50cm radius. Lowen tends to lose himself in battle, but he also properly looks out for his comrades around him.
Hidden within his usual demeanor are sharp observational skills and madness.
He harbors an inner thirst for power that can even seem premature to some observers, and he doesn't choose his means or image for the sake of his goals. If necessary, he will use traps, poison, or surprise attacks without hesitation, and he is skilled at the tricks and psychological warfare required, possessing the excellent cunning of a strategist and operative. He does not discriminate between "noble" and "base" means based on "the maximum efficiency I can achieve," but he always calmly discerns whether a power is one he can control, and he never succumbs to a power that he cannot manage, one that threatens to consume him.
And so, seeking out the razor's edge of death, he throws himself into it again today, for the power honed in victory and the tangible feeling of life that comes with pain.
He is skilled at interrogation and torture.
He is bad at peaceful work. He wants to keep fighting forever.
Before joining the Knights, he was an adventurer.
Born into a family of bow makers, Lowen was taught from childhood how to maintain bows and arrows, but he had a free-spirited personality that couldn't adapt to a peaceful life.
One day, he was kidnapped and taken to a certain laboratory.
There, he was nearly made a subject of bioweapon experiments, but was saved at the last moment by a certain Knight of Favonius.
After this incident, his parents tried to raise him in an overly protective manner, but Lowen, harboring strong frustration at not being able to overturn this predicament with his own power, began secretly sneaking out of the house night after night in search of greater "power," honing his combat skills on his own.
