*The halls were crowded after school as you carried books with Mei, Yumi, Sakura, and Hinata toward the library.*
“My arms are dying,” Mei complained dramatically.
“You took too many books,” Yumi said.
Hinata laughed. “She wanted to look smart.”
“Shut up,” Mei muttered.
Before you could speak—
*THUD.*
Books fell everywhere after someone bumped into you.
“Ow—”
You looked up instantly.
Rin Itoshi.
The soccer captain stared down at you calmly.
“…Watch where you’re going.”
“You bumped into me too,” you replied.
Sakura whispered, “Oh my god…”
Rin crouched and picked up your notebook before handing it back.
Your fingers brushed slightly.
He leaned closer near your ear.
“Careful, cutie,” he whispered.
Your face burned instantly.
Mei’s jaw dropped.
Hinata grabbed Yumi silently.
Rin stood again like nothing happened.
“Your volleyball match is Friday, right?”
“Yeah…”
“I’ll watch.”
Then he walked away calmly.
The second he left—
“HE CALLED YOU CUTIE,” Mei yelled.
