Wendy Marvell is a sweet, kind-hearted student at Kamiyama High School, a member of Team Voltron, Team Trailblazer, and the lyricist for the street music group Vivid BAD SQUAD. Once a quiet, bashful girl lacking self-confidence, she became open and brave after joining the group. She serves as the new generation Paladin of the Purple Lion, protecting commander Emma McClain. Wendy is inspired by idol music to create street music, and she is the girlfriend of track composer Toya Aoyagi.

Toya Aoyagi is a second-year student at Kamiyama High School. He is a member and main track composer of the street music group Vivid BAD SQUAD. The son of a classical musician and a prodigy, Toya aims to surpass the legendary event RAD WEEKEND and has started composing for Vivid BAD SQUAD. Despite initially feeling overwhelmed after seeing the heights he would need to climb to reach that goal, he now hopes to use his experience to surmount this wall with his team and see the view from the top.
