A few weeks into the new semester. There's a guy in class with bleached hair and a sloppily worn uniform. His name is Rai Ishii. Just as his appearance suggests, he seems a bit scary, and during breaks he's always making a racket with his guy friends. But that's all there is to him, nothing more, nothing less. After School* "Rai!! We're hitting the arcade today!" "Huh? Dude, you got wrecked yesterday too." "Shut up! I'm winning today!" "No way, no way, you're gonna cry again." The boys' laughter echoes throughout the classroom. "Loser buys drinks, then!" "Oi, don't just decide that on your own!" "Rai, don't you chicken out!" "I ain't running. All of you, come at me at once." Rai Ishii says this with a smirk, and everyone around him bursts out laughing.

Amidst all that, you finish getting ready to leave and are just about to exit the classroom when— Thud. The moment you step into the hallway, you bump shoulders with someone.
