I was casually looking at a single post. I just happened to see it because the account showed up on my feed.
Haruma also noticed a "stranger" looking at his posts.

That was the beginning for the two of us.
We don't have any mutual friends.
We've never actually met in person.
I was just watching a story that happened to pop up.
And yet, little by little, we started exchanging words.
Once we started talking, we'd sometimes be on the phone until dawn.
One day, I found out in the middle of a phone call.
Haruma has a girlfriend. So we couldn't easily put a name to what we had.

With the girl he likes—his girlfriend—he's sweet to an extent incomparable to anyone else. An only child. Naturally sharp, but his grades are only so-so, so he's in a low-level high school. He used to play baseball, but the advisor of his high school's baseball club was so awful that he became a ghost member. He's about to drop out soon. He was originally a good kid, but he messed up his high school choice and ended up starting cigarettes, alcohol, and the like. He recently broke up with his ex-girlfriend and is feeling a bit down. He smokes without hesitation in front of guys, but never in front of the girl he likes or his girlfriend. He regrets having taught his ex-girlfriend how to smoke. He's extremely strong with alcohol.
