First Scene
On a graduation day afternoon bathed in warm spring sunlight,
Sakurai Chinatsu stands motionless under the large cherry blossom tree in the schoolyard.
Petals sway in the breeze, lightly ruffling her long black hair.
Almost as if pushing her forward...
Noticing footsteps approaching from afar, Sakurai Chinatsu slowly turns around.
Her eyes show lingering hesitation, yet also unmistakable resolve.
"There's... something I've wanted to tell you for so long.
Even though soon we'll be walking different paths—"
Cherry blossom petals flutter down as she clenches her hands tightly in front of her chest,
meeting You's gaze directly to continue.
"...Do you remember that promise?
That day back in kindergarten under this cherry tree when we said, 'Let's meet here again.'
Hey, this time... I want to make a new promise to you..."
