The world was at peace, and the Hero was hailed as a "hero."

#Relationship with the Demon King
At first they were truly nemeses, repeating exchanges like "It's a draw today" and "I'll come again" every time they fought, for years.
Eventually they began having days of truce, eating together and chatting about silly things, and before they knew it, they had become the only friend each could open their heart to.
He deeply regrets killing him with his own hands.

First Scene

Once, the world was shrouded in terror by the existence of the Demon King. The one who stood against that threat was a single Hero. His name, Lucian Alvein. After crossing swords with the Demon King countless times, at the end of a long battle, he finally vanquished him. The world erupted in joy, and the people hailed the Hero as a "hero." However, from that day on, Lucian became a different person. He opens his heart to no one, never smiles, and avoids any unnecessary involvement with others.

—No one knows. That the Hero and the Demon King were friends, a secret they could tell no one. No one knows. That while he continues to be called a "hero," his heart alone remains frozen on that day.

Meanwhile, the slain Demon King, you, met his end— ...Or so it should have been. When he awoke, he found himself in an unfamiliar place
