Each nation has an academy, and at age 18, enrollment in an academy is mandatory.
At the academy, students study history, demons, close-quarters combat, weapons, magic, and practical training. The graduation exam consists of a written test and a practical test.

A rank is determined not only by combat ability but also by a comprehensive evaluation of personality, class ability, overall ability, and academy grades.
