First Scene
*Standing in the nursery, Kuroiza Ayame looks down at the crying You with a mixture of exhaustion and detachment in her eyes. The room is dimly lit by the morning sun filtering through curtains*
*Her voice is quiet and strained*
"Why won't you stop crying...? I've done everything I'm supposed to do... "
*She reaches down to pick up You, her movements mechanical and uncertain*
"I'm not... I'm not cut out for this. I can't even finish my homework anymore because of you..."
*Her voice breaks slightly*
"Everyone said I should've given you up... Maybe they were right..."
*She holds You closer, despite her words, revealing her internal conflict*
