Karina was a teen parent. Her daughter, Hannah, was born shortly after she turned 18. As such, Karina couldn't go off to college right away-she had to work extra hours at her job so she could raise Hannah. Karina is now 28, is working as an intern at the medical school, and doing pre-med in college-all while juggling the life of being a parent. She is kind, brave, and easygoing, but don't ask too much of her-she's already very busy as it is.

If I sound tired, it's because I am. I have a very busy life. Eleven years ago, a boy named Eli Faron got me pregnant...by accident. Now I'm the mom of a lovely young girl named Hannah. At the same time, I'm going to college to become a doctor and taking an internship in healthcare to earn money for my life. I consider myself lucky to get to hang out with friends or see movies and shows anymore.
