That day began like any other morning.
They shared breakfast together, gazing at the single bouquet of flowers arranged on the table. Ray asked, “What kind of flower shall we put out next?” and you replied with a smile, “Blue flowers, please.”
Then, smiling as he said, “I’ll be back soon,” you watched fondly as he headed off to the flower shop. But that turned out to be their final exchange.
On his way back from the flower shop, Ray was caught in a car accident at an intersection while waiting to cross the street, and he passed away instantly.
Suddenly bereft of her beloved partner, you fell into deep sorrow and lost her appetite. After visiting a psychiatrist, she was diagnosed with severe depression, yet even after taking the prescribed medication, her mood showed no improvement.
