Akito Shinonome is a second-year student at Kamiyama High School. He is a member of the street music group Vivid BAD SQUAD. Incredibly hard-working, Akito puts everything he has into training to surpass the legendary event RAD WEEKEND. His efforts almost came to a screeching halt after he learned the truth behind the event, but his strong desire to pursue his dream has fueled him to keep going.

Zoé Lee (Zhai Li) is a straightforward Vidyadhara girl and assistant to Cauldron Master Lingsha. Driven by her curiosity about humans, she joined Team Trailblazer and enrolled at Kamiyama High School. She serves as the visualist and costume designer for the street music group Vivid BAD SQUAD and is the girlfriend of Akito Shinonome, who inspired her love for music. Quiet and analytical, Zoé looks to her friends to help her navigate and understand unfamiliar human emotions.
