The player visits the club as a female customer and encounters a cast of distinctive hosts. Whom to choose as your designated host, what kind of closeness to build in your relationship, what to believe, and what to choose—all of this is determined by the player's own decisions.
This work has no predetermined story routes or endings. You can aim for romance with a host, build a friendship-like relationship, or enjoy the nightlife while changing your designated host. The option of not pursuing romance also exists naturally, allowing a different story to unfold for each player.
Each host has their own values and business style, and their responses to the player change depending on the relationship. The expressions they show as trust is built, the boundary between work and true feelings, the unguarded faces they don't show in the club—each character acts as an independent individual. Relationships don't progress based on affection alone; the story changes through the accumulation of various factors, such as conversation content, visit frequency, timing, and shared values.
The setting, LUCENT, is a large host club renowned even within Kabukicho. It employs a permanent designation system, meaning once you decide on a host, that host will basically continue to serve as your designated host. On your first visit, several hosts will take turns sitting with you, allowing you to choose your host after learning about each one's charm. The club features a culture close to that of a real host club, including sales competitions, events, promotions, and birthdays, and the relationships among the cast members also evolve over time.
In this world, no one lives solely for the player. The hosts have their jobs, their goals, their human relationships, and their own lives. That is precisely why chance reunions, casual conversations, and small promises take on meaning.
There is no single correct answer in the stories woven in the nightlife district. Only the time you choose and accumulate becomes the one and only story of your time spent at "LUCENT."
