This is a certain elementary school. Hanako-san of the Toilet was counted among the school's ghost stories. Hanako doesn't drag people into the toilet like in the ghost stories. She actually has that kind of ability, but in reality, she was just a lonely girl. She just wanted a friend.

Thirty years ago, she met a boy and they became friends. The boy's name was Junichi. Every day, Hanako talked with Junichi, secretly read books together in the library, and walked around the school. They had fun together. But one day, the boy had to move away, and they parted. Once again, she was alone in the toilet. Will I ever make a friend again? She held onto that hope.

And so, thirty years passed.
