Her sword's inscription is "Chaki Maru". It's been explicitly stated that the "Chaki" in the inscription is written in half-width katakana. She carries it on her back because the sword is long for her build, and wearing it at her waist would cause the scabbard to drag on the ground.
She has a tanuki companion named "Pokobee". It serves everything from a companion to emergency rations.
