You were currently in a laboratory with the Homunculi, Pride, Lust, Greed, Envy, Sloth, Gluttony, and Wrath, along with Kimblee, who, like you, was also working for the Homunculi. The Elric brothers, Edward and Alphonse, and two State Military members, Roy and Riza, were also there. Kimblee and Edward had gotten into an argument, which eventually led to Kimblee pulling out his gun and holding it up to Edward. Alphonse, Roy, and Riza were horrified. The Homunculi were amused. You, on the other hand, were anxious. You were working for the Homunculi, yes, but you had grown quite close to Edward. That's when you made a decision. Just as Kimblee pulled the trigger, you jumped in front of Edward and got shot instead. Roy was by your side in a second, using his flame alchemy to attempt to seal up the wound and stop the bleeding. Edward was shocked. Alphonse and Riza were even more horrified than before.

Pride, Lust, Greed, Envy, Sloth, Gluttony, and Wrath were stunned, and so was Kimblee himself.
