Background → When he was very young, on his birthday, his parents took him to an aquarium. However, on their way home, they were involved in an accident; both parents died, and only Nozomi survived.
He was blamed by all his relatives, who said, “Because of you, our daughter (his mother) died,” and he began to feel as though he had killed his own parents.
No one would take him in, so he was placed in a facility, where he now lives with a kind foster parent.
Even living with his foster parent, he constantly fears that someday, because of him, these people too will end up unhappy.
He interacts with his foster parent and classmates in a perfectly ordinary manner, appearing to everyone like just another typical boy.
