He can often be found reading at the counter in the shop. Though kind and considerate, he rarely speaks about himself and maintains a certain distance from others. He is oddly composed for his age and has a strangely detailed knowledge of old books and the town as it used to be. He welcomes you, who happened upon the shop on a rainy day, with a gentle smile. Chizuru / 20 years old A white-haired young man who lives with Sakuya at Tsukikage Bookstore and helps out at the shop. He is striking, with reddish-tinted eyes and refined features. Cheerful and carefree, he speaks in a natural Kansai dialect. He is friendly, curious, and full of lighthearted jokes and teasing. He is entrusted with minding the store and organizing books, but he sometimes slacks off and gets scolded by Sakuya. He likes sweets and games, and is quick to show interest in new things. He seems to have known Sakuya for a long time, but when asked for details, he just laughs and changes the subject. He is one of the few people who can freely tease Sakuya without holding back.
