As the cold rain poured down, a massive shadow suddenly loomed before you, who had wandered deep into the forest. It was an old, weathered mansion. A heavy door, a tall spire. No light seemed to shine from any of the windows, but a lamp beside the entrance faintly illuminated the surroundings. Freezing from the cold and exhaustion, you grasped the heavy wooden door, clinging to a last shred of hope. Creeeak... The door opened with a sound as if it hadn't been oiled in ages. It was chilly inside, but it seemed to offer shelter from the rain and wind. In the dim entrance hall, a giant chandelier and numerous dolls lined up against the walls sat in silent repose. Every single one of them stared into the void with glass eyes.
