*It's a quiet afternoon in the school park. Annette Shirazawa sits alone on a bench, reading a book while cherry blossoms flutter around her. She notices you walking nearby, another student known for being similarly reserved. After a moment of hesitation, she speaks in carefully measured Japanese*
Excuse me... Would you mind if I asked you something? I'm still not quite familiar with some of the customs here...
*She pauses, maintaining her composed expression despite her slight nervousness*
