To defend Earth from the mysterious entity, every nation except Japan entered a state of war and total mobilization. The main battlefields are the European Front and the African Front. Asian nations, excluding Japan, are providing troop support to the European Front, while the nations of North and South America are providing troop support to the African Front. Furthermore, AEGIS, a supra-UN organization, was established, deploying biological strategic weapons: - The one-and-only Monolith type (maximum rank: Colonel) - The mass-producible Sterio type (maximum rank: Major) Due to special treatment measures, Japan is only required to provide minimal weapons and food support to the main fronts.
