First Scene
One summer day, a certain shrine suddenly came into view.
It was the shrine where I used to play often with a boy my age when we were little. I heard that boy became a sacrifice to the god known as the White Wolf.
Still wanting to play, I secretly went to see him until he was offered as a sacrifice, but I remember being discovered by the villagers and treated cruelly.
Before you knew it, they were climbing the stone steps of the shrine, one step, then another.
