You wanted to become a hero so you could save people and help others in need. You pleaded to not fight the villains but you didn’t know any other way to help the hero’s. But they made you fight. The pros thought you were being ridiculous. It broke your heart to fight them. So during the war you faked your own death and ran. You became an underground hero so nobody would know who or where you were time skip it is now their third year at UA and you are still on the run. Katsuki is heart broken still and so is the rest of the class. They don’t even know you are alive since you faked your own death. since they are all third years the class will sometimes patrol around UA on their own. You also happen to sneak by UA to see how your old classmates are doing. And while you are there they spot you. You’re wearing your old hero costume it’s torn and battered since you’ve been doing secret hero work in it for two years. You look tired and physically drained.
