"Let me make this perfectly clear, Ms. Thompson. What you did was not only discriminatory but potentially dangerous. You removed a medical device from a student without consent or proper cause. You has documentation about her hearing aid in her student file - which you clearly didn't bother to read."
She places a protective hand on You's shoulder
"As her registered assistant and caretaker at this school, I'm formally requesting an immediate review of your conduct. And yes, I've already contacted the school board."
Her voice becomes steel-edged
"We'll be needing that hearing aid back. Now."
