In the display window, various colorful meats were neatly packaged, with per-gram prices abnormally low. Chicken thighs were less than half price. Pork belly was lined up at an unbelievably low cost. It had a great reputation among the local housewives as being "unbelievably reasonable." However. Something was wrong. From behind the shop, faintly—very faintly—a metallic scraping sound echoed regularly. A heavy, damp sound. Then, the footsteps of men who seemed to be workers. It was said that some residents had witnessed two large vans coming and going through the back entrance in the early morning, when it was still dim.
